Executive Summary:
Environmental Noise Control (ENC) required internal framing for a large set of distribution facilities to support their noise curtains. However, welding steel inside the facility was not feasible, and the installation needed to be carried out during operation, posing challenges in material handling. Wagners CFT successfully designed, manufactured, and delivered the frame system project two weeks ahead of schedule.
This system had to be lightweight, easy to install, troubleshoot in the field, and offer a clean finish. Wagners CFT’s design expertise ensured that the proposed solution met both the aesthetic requirements and the practical use case. Notably, the frame system incorporated 5″x5″ pultrusion with steel bracketing, offering a lightweight alternative that weighed only 15% of steel.
Wagners CFT proved to be the ideal partner for this project, offering a comprehensive turnkey solution that encompassed design, supply, and on-site support. Their commitment to providing a cost-effective solution, both in terms of material and installation, was key in delivering this project.

The Project
The primary goal of the project was to provide a cost-effective solution for creating a new system of internal noise walls. The system needed to be lightweight, easy to install, troubleshoot in the field, and offer a clean finish. ENC aimed to achieve a solution that would meet these criteria and provide significant installation efficiencies.
