The 'Save the Redwoods' League pioneered and funded the project and aimed to provide a 70ft. x 7ft. pedestrian bridge for visitors to the Redwood National Park.
The project required innovative installation methods due to the lack of vehicular access to the bridge site and a timber decking option for aesthetics.
Wagners CFT designed and constructed the trusses that would form the super-structure of the bridge. The truss was delivered to the site and Wagners staff worked closely with local contractors to transport the truss using a rope system utilizing the redwood trees.
This bridge is being installed.
